any one here running mega squirt ?! i am looking for some one that can give me pros or cons on the matter,
for those of you who don't know,
Mega squrit is basicly an after market ECU, with less problems and more power, and programing,
but it DOES take a load of wiring, i mean a load
you basicly have to re-wire the entier motor,
MS runs the injectors, moniters the MAP sensor IAT CTS KNOCK TPS
EVERY THING it's about 360 $ and can also plug into your computer
I have mine built and tested, but not on the car yet. I'm going to build a new harness instead of splicing into the 20+ year old wiring.
My suggestion is to READ, READ, READ.
The basics aren't that difficult, but there are some avenues that require hardware mods as well as software mods to work properly.
The kits go together pretty easily though. I'm looking forward to building more.
