Title: I hate my digital dash
Post by: 20th anny 5.o on September 03, 2005, 05:59:22 PM
My digi dash keeps showing different values for my gallons of gas left. For instance i can be driving down the road the dash reads 12 gallons then at the next stop light its down to 8 gallons. Something has got to be buggered up with it i just did a tune up on it.

Your sending unit might have a dead spot, or the connection at the top of the tank may have corroded. But if it makes you feel any better, I hate your digital dash too :D

Had the same problem with my car, but only lasted a month or so. I haven't seen it do anything like that in a year.
I do also hate the digital dash but it's kind of cool in it's own nasty spinach green kind of way.

I kind of like my digital dash - not sure why though. Maybe 'cause I wanted the car I have now when it was new and I thought the novely of the digital dash was cool. Maybe it's because I'm an engineer and I like the precision of having a discreet number for MPH. I do like the 199 MPH limit now for sure  :hick:
