I can relate to the price war, Sly1990 - back about '94 the local stations were having one and gas got as low as 23.7 cents/liter. That was a nice summer (and it did last all summer, too) - filling my '91 T-Bird took eleven bucks!
$3.31 for Regular (high side) $3.15 Regular (low side)
The solution for You, Guys, Expropiate the Petrol Industries.....We did the same thing in 1938....And still we are happy for did that...

MexCougar, the governments here don't have the will (nor the balls) to expropriate the petroleum industries. In fact Canada did just the opposite - Petro Canada was a federal government agency and was sold to the private sector about a decade ago. Now Petro Canada is almost always the very first to raise their prices. Figures the government would wash its hands clean of something that makes money...
Costs from $3.29 to $3.40 for regular here right now. Most stations are out of certain grades, some are out completely. Still others are only allowing a certain sale amount per person. I had to go to three different stations today before I found one that had gas and would let me put it in my gas can for the mower.
87 - 3.599

me going back to 10* timing... pricele... um, $0.40/gallon.
