Title: TC Moulding, fogs
Post by: Masejoer on August 29, 2005, 06:18:50 PM
Car is now fully primered and awaiting paint during the coming up 3 day weekend. I'm looking for turbo coupe fender moulding without  lamps along with at least some foglight brackets. Foglights themselves are fine although I'll probably be purchasing brand new ones from Aerobird soon enough. I'd also like to find the fog switch and bezel for a car without autolamps. Let me know if you can help and name your price.

Hey man, I've got the brackets and wiring for the fogs as well (used). I probably have the switches and trim, I'll check on it tomorrow.

would the switches and brackets off an 86 work? if so i've got the complete switch assembly and if you want the backets (they are rusty and would need sandblasting but are solid) theyre yours for shipping, i'm moving soon and its all gonna go in the trash along with some other 86 tc switches etc. i've got in the closet anyone want a used K&N filter?

I believe the switch/bezel is the same from 85-88 but I don't know about the brackets. Anyone have an idea?

Seek, the brackets are different, the switch should be the same. I have 5 switches, all have auto-lamp.

so is that also with the cover? With or without auto lamp cutout?

On a side note, I don't think it matters much if the front fender moulding has the marker cutout and lens. Could always place something behind it to make it opaque which still wouldn't look awful. Anyone have pieces for both sides? Not a high priority yet since base/clear paints had to be put off until a later date.

and about the new fogs, how would I go about ordering them from you? Through email? The cheap $20 fogs at parts stores that're about the same size are tempting but its unknown how long they'll last. Rather stick with the factory

Send a money order in. My address and payment info are on the website. The cheapies are just that, cheapies. They light up about as much road as a happy meal flashlight and last about as long. You could run an autolamp switch, just don't plug anything into the autolamp and voila, problem solved.

Sorry, have been busy. Do you do Paypal?

Last time I tried, you never responded to a PM

That's cause it took me 3 months to figure out how to open a PM :D No PayPal, I take checks (must clear before shipment) and money orders.
