I was bored today, and it was too nice to not do anything car oriented, so i went out to find a new place to take pics, and almost had an electrical fire
Thats a hell of a dumpster in your third picture...
Dumpster? I thought it was a Scion xB.
Na, too big for a Scion xB. I think its a Mini Cooper.
I like the rims.
Heh heh, more pics of what it would look like if it were the end of the world and Shawn and his bird were all that was left!
:rollin: :giggle:
so i guess ill go take pics somewhere where theres 900 people around, giving me goofy looks thinking "why is that kid taking pictures of an 18 year old car?"
Done that. It's a lot of fun. They try not to lead on that they're looking but you know they are.
More fun if you get flat on the ground to get a low angle shot. . . then you really get some strange looks :hick:
Hmm....I'll have to keep that in mind.
I've also stood in the bed of my dad's truck to get some high angle shots.
I really like that car! :D just never told you
Alright, since noone else asked the simple question, I suppose I will. What'd ya do to almost start it on fire? :flame: lol
for the past few days, i was smelling a plastic burning smell, similar to a bag being stuck on the exhaust, well today im driving home and the smell got really strong, so i pull over, pop the hood, and smoke was pouring out, so i move to the other side of the car so i could see what was happeneing, and it turns out that my fan connector was on fire! so i had to put that out, and pop the connector off, and take back ways home so i could keep the car moving since my auc fan doesnt work, and my primary fan is the one that just took a dump
not too much damage was done, the connector is still functional, but im going to need a another one before too long
nothing major thankfully, two of my friends had their taurus' go up in flames, so i was flipping out for the moment
, that kinda sux. At least it wasn't anything TOO major.
You need to ditch that stock fan and connector.....you might not get to it in time the next time it happens....
Never knew it before...but that's my favorite color scheme for a TC: charcoal gray/red/charcoal snowflakes.
Good job dude, car looks sweet.
thanks dude, i used to downright hate the red stripe on the car, and the red interior, but now that ive sat back and looked at it, the charcoal gray and the red work very well together
I like the red stripe, but it ain't my favorite color for the interior(I'll be keepin' my black)...
The charcole grey really looks good on a TC....
Yup, that much red looks better with a little red outside. Its totally 80s, and it'll be cool in 20 years as a retro thang.
I have an idea where the first picture was taken...
:D
they were all taken at the same place ;)
ever seen some of the interiors in 05 stangs? seen a red interior...give it 2 more years, and itll be the cool thing
then i get to hear "wow, you have a red interior just like my moms new corrola"
Car looks good Shawn.
I always kinda liked the charcoal and red interior myself ;)
Actually the red inside was a big mark of a luxurious car when these were built. I actually was happy to have it, and still am.
Let's hope not. For some reason the red leather looks really cool but I really don't care too much for the red cloth upholstry in these cars.
I can't see some 60-70 year old woman driving a corolla with a bright red interior. :yuck:
Of course it would be as funny as hell to see some young moron think he has a racecar because his new import has a red interior :giggle:
