I have a super clean, '90 Cougar with every option except the supercharger...lol. The car has approx. 150k miles...blown head gasket...oil is not contaminated, all coolant is coming out of the exhaust. I think it needs new window motors too...sunroof still works, keyless entry still works(no key fob). It was my brothers car and we maintained the hell out of it...it has newer brakes, rotors, calipers all around, new alt, new radiator, new water pump, many new hoses. I would really hate to see this thing sped...it has been in the family since we bought it off of the original owner in the mid-90's. I paid $250 for the car with the intention of fixing and reselling, but I lost interest and now I must get rid of it. The registration is up in october and I have to get it off the street and I have no where to store it.
Clean car with clean title and history.
Thanks,
Don

it might be worth it to you to fix the headgasket then sell it for 500+ in the paper or something.
I was going to originally fix it and I probably could have gotten $1000 for it...I just don't feel like doing it now, the more I look at the car, the more I want it gone. The way I look at it...let someone else make a profit.
I just edited my original post...this car is FREE to the first person that comes to my house with a trailer. My loss can be your gain. I need to move soon and the registration will be up shortly...preventing me from keeping it in the street. Please, somebody take this car!!!!

Sick88Tbird,
Man, I never live close to anybody offering these kind of deals! I would take it in a hearbeat if I wasn't in east central Illinois. Please don't junk it if it's worth anything at all. I just hate that. Isn't anybody on this forum closeby who can save this car? Good luck!

I would pay someone to pick it up for me. Dont s it. Someone take the car. Thats one more down otherwise
Everytime I consider the possibility of junking the car, my stomach turns. It's a nice car other than the fact that it needs head gaskets. Please somebody take this car.
man, somebody on the east coast has to pick this one up! DONT JUNK IT!
If I didn't already have too many cars, I'd probably take it.
give it to a charity
They would just end up reselling it in Auto Trader, screw that. I guess I'll just have to junk it.
Well, nobody wanted it so I had the junk yard come and pick it up on wednesday...almost shed a tear as they manhandled the poor little "Cougster" on to the back of the roll back. :disappoin
