Title: HVLP Sprayer
Post by: Masejoer on August 13, 2005, 12:23:34 PM
Okay, I need to get going on this before the warm days are over. Can anyone recommend a decent sprayer for under $300? Of course, paint use is most important, but being able to spray primer well is a bonus. I can't find any place with recommended products or reviews.

I'm not liking the idea of staying with my stock color...compressor tank isn't quite big enough for a whole car shoot (or very close if it is), along with being metallic which adds cost and complications. Went up to an automotive paint shop earlier just up the road and talked to them about my options and what they have/pricing

Edit:
decided against purchasing a new sprayer...I'll take my car up to my dad's in the next couple weeks to prep it and then the following weekend for a spraydown. He has all the necessary tools and space to do a proper paintjob...and has painted cars since he was my age

the eastwood company has a good starter unit with a smaller touch up gun also for a $100
