Title: steering wheel?

im thinking of replacing my steering wheel, how do I take my original one out?

Push in the horn button and rotate until it pops out. Then you undo the bolt and unhook the cruise control wires and whatnot and then you pull really hard.

Sometimes is best to buy a steering wheel puller (if its stuck on good and you don;t wanna break it)

yeah, and ranging from $2-20, its hard to justify not getting one

all i did was remove the bolt partway, let the wheel lock, rotated it really hard back and forth, and it popped

I got a really big square punch and had an assistant hit the center bolt with that while I pulled, mine was a bit stubborn, but it came out.
