Title: Mustang Bullitt rear springs + 87-88 TC Eibach pro-kit springs
Post by: Graham on July 30, 2005, 01:05:04 PM
I have a brand new pair of rear Mustang Bullitt springs. They will lower the rear of your TC about 2-3". It was too much of a drop for my 17x9 CObra-r's.

They were installed for about 5 mins and were never run. I litteraly installed them, dropped the jack, jacked it back up and removed them.

I paid $140 for the pair, I'm selling them for $100 plus shipping.

I've also got a pair of Eibach pro-kit rear springs made for the 87-88 TC's. These are not Mustang springs, they are TC specific. I'm still running the fronts but had the same problem as above with the rears. They sat great with the Pony wheels. Chop your fronts and throw these in the rear. $90 + shipping.

Hmmm... I'm curious, what year TC do you have? I have the same springs on my car but I was running 17X8s and a fox Mustang rear.

87 TC. I'm running 275's in the rear, so with that much of a drop, the fenders rubbed on the tires. It would be fine with a 255 or 265 though.

so, if i bought these, for my mustang ?they would lower the back about 2 inches?  and i'd only have to buy front ones ?!

Would i have to buy any thing else ?

Not sure about the drop on a stang, but I would figure about 1.5-2.5". Chuckw reffered me to these springs so maybe he would have some more info about the drop on a stang.

Nothing else would be needed, unless your isolators are shot, but they are cheap to replace anyways.

These springs are 12.2" tall, not sure on the rate though.

just an fyi about the springs...I have them in the rear of my stang (98) and I love them.  Much better ride than lowering springs, and stockers.  I would say 1.5" is about all you get of a drop in a stang.  They raised up mine from before (I had BBK lowering springs before)
