i've got a set of injectors coming in the mail, 35# brown tops
How much more power would i get from buying 42# ? or do i have to do some more stupid shiznit? or can i just drop them in there ?
is there any possablitiy i could use the 35 # injectors on my NON boosted stang ? cause i have to reseal the valve cover, so i'm ending up pulling the intake stuff any way, so would it be worth it ?
or is there any other option i could look into for getting just a little bit more power outa my N/A 2.3 ??
money isn't really an issue, but don't say yard the motor out and drop in a 5.0, or rebuild it....i'm looking for bolt on mods, like header, cam..stuff like that.....
i may be buying a ported intake for it, upper at least,
I'm guessing you are working on a TC of some sort. Year?
The factory turbo ECUs can only compensate for about a 10% max increase in injector size...
The 42#ers will run pig rich on the turbo car w/o any other mods.
The 35#ers will do the same to the N/A car.
On the 2.3T's the stock 35# injectors are good up to about 300hp....so unless you're making more....don't go any larger.
right now i'm building a turbo 2.3 mustang.. swaping over the ECU and adding a VAM meter, and changing injectors,
I have a non boosted stang that needs a little more giddy up,
