Title: has anyone had allinement issues with 11" brakes on 83-86 birds/casts?
Post by: motormenace on July 26, 2005, 12:49:30 PM
I did the 11" front brake swap with MM C/C plates and 87-88 TC koni reds on my 86 turbo coupe. The problem seems to be that the caster and camber is still out of wack. Has anyone had to slot the holes on the strut towers to alow more clearance?

What do you mean by 'out of wack'? Judging from your pics it looks like you set your plates up in the 'Negative' setup. This is normally used for racing setups. Try the 'Positive' orientation and see if that remedies the problem...

Good Luck.

That's what i'm thinking. The car is a little (alot) darty, so i'm going to have to sit down with my friend before he alligns it again.
