I've decided to let go of my Cougar. It's a pretty clean little car, about 101k miles. The 20th anniversary edition has a lot of gee whiz gizmos in the interior and by and large most of them still work. The coolcats website has a pretty good writeup on this model.
Recent work includes:
- New brakes front and back
- Recent alignment
- Cooper tires with only a few thousand miles on them.
- Moonroof seal was replaced
- Coolant flushed
- New struts and strut mounts
- Dual exhaust with H pipe sounds very nice.
Anniversary floor mats and a car cover are included.
We slid into a ditch earlier in the year and I busted the rear axle and a rim. Fortunately that was all that got damaged. The forum member 87ThunderbirdBlackJack sold me the 8.8" 3.55 posi rear end that's now in the back of the car and I found a replacement turbine rim from a Mustang. The only thing downside is a couple of the center caps are damaged.
Here's the ad. Let me know you're from the forum when you call and I'll be nice :)
