Im lookin to move outta my parents house and into an apartment,Im gonna try and get my dad to let me leave the cougar here at the house but......Whats a good price for a 85 Fox mustang 3.8 in good condition bluebook says 575. I just dont want to take the cougar to an apatment situation where it could be damaged.
i wouldnt pay more than 1000 for one really, but the value of fox stangs is skyrocketing
Well the one im looking at already isent in good condition i mean this car is just gonna be a beater that'll only have liability so that i could afford the 450 a month rent.
What kind of complex do you want to move into that even weathers the choice of having to get another car. That seems kind of excessive.
Well I would not move into a place that required my own private security guard to be sure my car was OK, but shiznit aways seems to happen to older nice cars in parking lots. I think getting a beater is perfectly reasonable, course if I have less than 2-3 extra cars I start getting nervous.
My thoughts exactly

fox stangs are rising in book value ?? noway ... if so, awesome..
One that would be reliable and have a good body I could see going for 700 - 1000 depending on mileage.
well this is how i put it in at kbb.com
100,000 miles manual and in good condition and it came up with 575 for an 85 with a 3.8
not in blue book valve, bur more like collectors value
that makes more sense Tbird232ci , lol ..
Actually, and 85 fox body 6 cyl is becoming very rare and thus is going up in book value according to collectors. A 4 cyl I can see going for 700- 1000. However, give it a few years and they'll be going up in value in the blue books.
My nephew will sell his '87 hatchback Stang for $750. Its 4cyl, 5speed with new tires and brakes... Lemme see if I have a pix....
THanks but we have an abundancy of 4 clyinders right here in toledo....dosent matter anyway my dad wants me to stay here at home so i can start college soon. but thanks for all the input.
STAY FOR COLLEGE....If you have the chance, don't pass it up. Wish I had that opportunity again. College is something that once you pass the chance, you will most likely not get it again. My wife finally went back, 11 years later, and when she finishes, maybe I'll get to consider finishing my degree. Seems like something else is always more important. STAY THERE...
Oh yeah i am im gonna go to Owens for RN courses.
