I did the Turbo Coupe suspension swap (brakes, diff, etc) to the SPort. While trying to install the parking brake cables, it appears I'm missing some pieces. Apparently there.s a pivoting lever that mounts to the bottom of the car under the seat area of the floor that fits on a post that sticks down. I need the lever and associated hardware for it. It appears to be at a junction where the cables come together. I'm learning this. Never messed with it before.
Vinnie, I have the pieces. How much of this do you actually need? It looks like the pivot point would need to be welded to your floorboard if it's not already there. I have two cars with these pieces. I just took a photo of the one that was easiest to get to. Just an fyi, that pivot point piece is pretty much just to simply keep the cable bracket from sagging.
That lever on the pivot point is simply just to keep the cable bracket from sagging. Seems like there would be another way to fab that. I have the pieces but it could probably be managed another way.
I have no earthly idea how they are supposed to be installed under the car. The Coolcats site said that it's self explanitory. I guess I'm the exception. LOL.
How much for those pieces?
I have the major cable assembly from the front to the rear.
If you just want the pivot point pieces (lever, spring, washer) , I'll ship you those for $25. Do you want me to cut off the actual pivot point and ship that as well? It is welded to the floor board.
My Sport already has that. PM sent.
Hopefully you can see in this photo how it looks when installed correctly. It is really pretty simple.
