Just wondering what resolution and monitor size everyone is running. I just picked up a 19" monitor and I'm running at 1200x1600. I can see the whole board in one screen, it's crazy!
*edit*
I guess this belongs down in the geek thread, :sorry:
HP Pavilion f70 (17" flat panel) at 1280x1024, which I believe is the "native" resolution.
300 x 200
Coleco Vision
Actually, I'm running 1024 x 768.
200x160 monochrome on a TRS-80 Model III :giggle:
I also store my porn on Tape Casette on my VIC-20 :rollin:
Nah..... just kidding....
I still own a 17" Optiquest Q71 Cathodic monitor on 1024x768...
POSERS I've got a Sony Trinitron 21" Flat CRT. Max Resolution is 2048x1536. At that I can have four full width web browsers open. But every thing is so tiny.
Guess I'm still back in the 20th century... 17" Sony(curb pickup) running 800 x 600.
I don't think this old AMD system(intergrated graphics) I threw together back in '00 will do any better than 1024 x 768.
Work: 1600 X 1200 on a 17" Samtron
Home: 1600 X 1200 (i think) on a 15" Sony.
Used to have duals at home but the 17 incher got busted durning the move. Very upsetting.
You need to make the rounds on trash day(Go out to the digs as my buddy says).... I've picked up six 17" monitors off the curb in the last year(I pass up anything smaller). One was dead, one jitters slightly, the switch sticks on one, and the other three were fine.
Also you can find them at yard sales for $10-$20. I passed up a nice Dell(Sony Triniton) for $5 the other day..
um at home i have 3 21" trinitrons crt flat screens (we 5S'ed at work could have gotten more) running 1280x1024, at work a 21" dell lcd same res, or the laptop screen 14" at 1024 x 768 and a few 15" crt's on the test boxes at home running 1024 x 768.
17" CRT running 1152x864.
1280x1024 is just too small and hurts my eyes.
Sweet, thanks for the info. :D
yah, all the old dell monitors are trinitrons, you can look at the back and they all say trinitron, made by sony.
I have run 2048x somthing or another on a 233mhz computer with a 4 mb video card on a 21" mac monitor.
17" flat panel from gateway running at 1280x1024. :hick:
Laptop: 15", 1024X768
Desktop: 17" flat panel, 1280X1024
In a effort to be part of the 21st century, I've moved up to 1024x768. I did have to bump the text size up to the largest setting, so maybe I'm cheating a little.
But no matter what, I ain't giving up my 1989 Laser keyboard(from a long gone 286)...
One 15" running at 800X600
3 17" running at 1024X7658
another 17" flat panel running at 1024X768
i difficult see anything over 1024X768.....the flat panel is running at 100HZ....
1440 x 900 pix on a 17.0" WXGA TruBrite screen on my Toshiba Satellite p35-S609 laptop. That is it's factory setting, and DVD's kick ass on it! :tg:
1024x768 on a 17in hp m70 backed by a GeForce4 MX 4000 with 128megs, thats in a comp that randomly restarts itself and does other weird on its own.
