I've been kicking around doing this conversion. My Cougar has a base cluster, and the guy I bought it from accidentally installed a full electric gas sending unit in the tank. I happen to have a full electric cluster from a thunderbird which also had a 3.8. How does one go about repinning the connectors to make this work?

you will also need the special coolant temp sensor to take the place of the single wire connection on the top front driver side lower intake.
you will need the special fuel level sending unit specific to the star wars cluster
this is not going to be easy though, you need to print out the evtm for your year car,, in my sig.,, then take it one wire at a time.
