So I junked my drum brake 7.5 in my 83 TC and now have a 88 disc brake 8.8 and I really would like to get the parking brake working. My car has all of the original parking brake components intact and functioning up till the swap so the cables are currently zip tied to the axle out of the way since they wouldn't hook up to the new calipers like I was hoping for.
Has anyone figured out how to make this swap 100% complete?

This is from AutoZone's website and I typically take what they have on their site with a grain of salt but their diagrams usually seem pretty legit. Scroll down to Figure 3 and you will see the diagram for the 86-88 rear e-brakes. You will have to find the assembly in the picture I attached (also on the site Chuck linked) from a donor car to make things work like factory which is what I did on my '83.
In case the link does not work I have attached the diagram. I had to log into my AutoZone account to get to it so I did not want the link to be broken. View "W" has the parts you will need to source off of a 87-88 TC.
I have all the cables from an 87 TC. I typically get $50 plus shipping for them, if you are interested in going that route.
If they are in good working order yes. What about the other brackets needed for the swap?
Probably the only bracket necessary is that 2A664 that is riveted and welded to the floor pan under the drivers side behind the rocker panel. It has to come out, just because it really is part of the assembly.
