Looking for a local foxbody mechanic in the Fairfield county CT or New Haven county areas. I'm in Norwalk, CT :) :bowdown:

Id like to do an engine rebuild and upgrade to HO power...plus swap the rear eventually to an 8:8...3:73 gears

If you've already got a 5.0 SO, the swap is fairly simple, and it'll be much cheaper to find a HO motor from a stang or otherwise than to tear apart an SO moor to rebuild it to specs.

There's a guy about 2 hours from me who just pulled a low mileage 5.0 from an '88 GT Stang. $700 for the AOD, engine, and ECM. Awesome deal for that swap. Too bad it's way down here in Oklahoma. There are probably deals all over for an H.O engine if you look around. Good luck.
