Hi; guys does anybody know which dorman by pass pulley part# is used for my 88 5.0 xr7.

This one says 83-86 5.0 as well as 84-88 mark7.

It seems to be just a generic part designed to fit a ton of vehicles. If it were me I'd just get a mustang power steering bracket and ac delete kit used for cheap.

Why eliminate?  It doesn't cost any power when it's not engaged, and when it IS engaged and you go to the floor, it DISengages.  I never understood why people do this with a street car.

I deleted mine a long time ago.......got tired of sweating and being uncomfortable during the summer, so, I have functional A/C now.

BUT, I am with Haystack. That's how I deleted my a/c at that time, Mustang steering pump bracket, a/c delete kit (moves the steering pump a little higher), and a shorter belt.

Thanks guys. pump is just there for belt, all other ac parts are gone plus its ugly.

Hey guys just to let you all know the dorman part# 34163 is a easy bolt on.
