biggest engine...basically...depends on how big your wallet is, and how your fabriation skills are

with enough money, anything can fit in any car

well,a 460 will fit in the fox cougar/thunderbirds,but the 87/88s would probably have to change the crossmember to an 86 and below due to the engine mount differences.you could use the mustang swap parts(i.e. oil pan, headers and engine mounts)once the crossmember is changed.

I am currently doing this swap 429/c-6 into 87 t/c

you must change the k member to either a stock mustang 5.0/2.3
or use a tubular version it will fit the t-bird fine as will all the other mustang swap stuff

you will also need the oil pan, headers, pulleys, accesories, upgraded radiator/cooling system/completely new exhaust, different drive shaft, switching to manual brakes, etc...

it is not a swap for someone who doesnt have mechanical experiance
as fabrication is your best friend

You don't need manual brakes - you can use a hydroboost setup like the Cobra Mustang uses, or I've even heard of people using a smaller diameter vacuum brake booster (this gives you about 1/2 inch of clearance with the valve cover. so use strong mounts!)

true , all depends on how easy you want it to work on personally i am using a manual brake changeover  as i am going to run motorsport valve covers or the blue thunder ones

it's not really, just the angle of the pic. all plugs are easy to get to. what headers are you using? hope they are not supercomps. i had a shiznitload of trouble with them not fitting right. went with a set of probe/pro mustang headers and the fit perfect.

me and about 20 guys had fitment issues. they hit the steering shaft(no 7 tube) and the come out about 1" from the trans x member and 1" of the collecter above the member so you can't get a pipe on it without mods. if you haven't yet, go here and join. great bunch of guys  http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/bigblockfox/
