Title: The Last Hurrah of 2015!
Post by: Lightningbird on November 13, 2015, 03:46:07 PM
So I decided to enter a Match Race Madness Shootout at Barona Dragway (near San Diego) for my last race of the year. It's a best 2 out of 3, heads up Match race. I am gonna do some test and tuning tomorrow and I thought I could use a little input on any thoughts for a few more tenths or a bit more power. I would like to end 2015 on a high note! Let me have it, I'm gonna pull out all the stops!

Wish ya the best of luck. I know nothing of drag racing, and certainly nothing with the level your at. Keep the shiny side shiny.

Guy in the poster was a no show! Had to race someone else. Lost both rounds. All in all Not bad, realized that me not having a transbrake is hurting me off a Pro Tree, also realized that my C4 is slipping in high gear. Gonna refresh this winter and upgrade only what's needed. Also gonna make a quicker foot brake switch so I can stay competitive on a pro tree.

The best I could do on a .400 pro tree footbraking is around .480. Anything else is just a lucky round. The 10.00 index stuff we were doing went to a .500 pro tree which made it even ground. Limiting front end travel can help some as well.

Guy in the poster called last weekend, wanted to make up the race at the next Match Race Madness event on April 2nd. I told him to show up if he wants a piece and I'll work him in....LOL, it's also my birthday, so after I make a few passes, I'll have to wash down my victory!

I'll try the suspension limiters, I do need some anyway since this thing is going higher and higher. The crowd sure is pleased! Not so good for ET.
