Seems like a good price, shipped, for a core though, unless it was an oil pressure issue.

I see a boss ground off the front ,cover, so it has been supercharged at the very least

Says low compression, probably has damaged pistons, rings and/or cylinder walls...

So someone paid 1,500 bucks for a worn out, abused and thrashed engine that's probably spent more time wide open than Jenna Jameson's cooter?
