Title: Car won't start after MAF conversion..
Post by: GDawg148 on October 14, 2015, 10:10:56 PM
I have triple checked to make sure every pin is in the right number.  Would the fuel pump relay or VSS keep the car from actually starting?

We are beginning to believe we may have gotten a bad computer.  Any ideas guys?  Thanks

A few weeks ago my bird wouldn't start. Had spark, fuel, etc... Turned out to be a bad ground from the computer. Good luck with it. Electrical Gremlins can sometimes be nerve racking

VSS nor fuel pump monitor circuit will cause a no start, neither will TAB/TAD solenoids as the Ford Racing conversions didn't address their wiring... If fuel pump is priming it's either a injector drive issue(computer), or there is no ign pulse to ECM tell it when to fire injectors...

Stick the orig computer back in it to see if it starts(be sure to reconnect vac to MAP)...
