Yep, it can be done. Check this (http://www.coolcats.net/tech/advanced/tbi_conversion.html) out for the info. If you're looking for a little more bump with a little less work in the conversion department, You should swap out the 3.8's Throttle body for the bigger 5.0 version. It's a really easy swap and I'm guessing a junker's TB would be cheaper than a new holley carb. If you have more questions about the TB swap, ask away, jcassity will more than likely jump on it.
