Apparently one of my mechanics has misplaced my ignition coil cover and I am looking to replace it if possible. It's the black plastic cover that goes over the coil, just in front of the front left shock tower. If you have one please let me know, or PM me on here.
Thanks:bowdown:
You can buy new ones but they are pricey: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/LRS-14088A/1986-93-Mustang-Coil-Cover
They are $10 cheaper on Ebay for a new one.
Ouch...$50 ??? I was hoping to find a used one but I appreciate the link ;)
Pretty sure I have one lying around. Lemme look and I'll let ya know shortly
On Ebay, the used ones are going for just about what the new ones are going for.
I just cant see paying $40-$50 for a piece of plastic
Here ya go. Removed from one of the 90-93 mustangs I parted out.
What were you asking ?
I'm asking $40 obo for mine on Ebay. free shipping.
Look up Ronsperformancegarage.
Save your money for bigger things, your car will be fine without it. Most of these cars don't have that anymore. If you really want the H.O swap, work towards that first. These can be found all the time, brand new, on Ebay ( I got mine brand new for $38 shipped). I have the cam for you. Now for a few more parts, the H.O swap time.
Still looking for one of these if anyone has one. They are $31.99 shipped from CJ Pony parts but id prefer to find one cheaper if possible. Thanks :hick:
Even used ones go for that much or more, PLUS shipping. Grab a new one.
+1...Is there a "Pick & Pull" salvage yard in your area? That would be your best shot at getting 1 under 30 bucks...
IF you can find one still on the car. Those things, like the distributor boots, are generally long gone on these cars after all these years.
Save your money, and prep for an H.O upgrade !!!!
