Hello everyone.just purchased my first bird and going to get it tomorrow from New Jersey.one owner, never smoked in and no accidents with 60,000 miles.its super pristine.hope everyone had a great holiday.
Sweet. Looks like you and I both lucked out this summer; I'm a second owner of a XR7 as well. 60,000... mine had 140,000 put on.
Welcome......
Clean looking car, Congrats. Whats in the plans for it??
Probably drive it as is for now.its to clean to cut up now.i just finished my 4k original mile 85 mustang w 331 procharged stroker, tremec, built 373 8.8,4pt cage in sleeper trim 10 holes.
576hp at the wheels on a conservative tune.
Bad thing is I'm having surgery on my clutch foot in 2 weeks so I won't be using that foot for about 5 months so I figured I'd pick this up.i will probably just shoot a nice set of rims and tires.
very nice keep us posted
Very nice ride. You could just go with a set of stock 10 holes and run with it, until you find a set of aftermarket wheels you like. Welcome to the club
Or just throw the 10 holes on off of the mustang. I have 275/60's on some 10 holes on mine.
Beautiful!
Mustang sounds like a wild one. Do you ever come to the Albany area?
Wow that baby is really clean. Welcome to the forum.
I don't get out of the Syracuse area often.works really demanding.thank you to everyone for the love on the site..
Welcome! Awesome score. Just slap a set of 10 holes on it and drive.
Welcome, nice find, looks really good like they stored in a garage somewhere.
I'm about as close as your going to get to seeing another one of these cars up close.. ;)
Hah, yeah. Just did a vacation road trip to from N. Alabama to Canandaigua lake and back. It's crazy how rusted stuff is from the early 2000s, much less the 80s!
I know, its really bad up here
On a cold quiet winter night as you lay down your head you can HEAR it *crunching noise* lol :(
It's truly disgusting, especially when you see a few out-of-state cars that are almost unbelievably nice underneath. Driving through even south Jersey/DE/MD is like being in another world. And it makes me seethe with envy...
I really like that Bird. Simple and clean. Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here.
Thank you
That's a nice car, andI thought I was the only one from syracuse that had an interest in these cars
I've seen that car recently, I think it was on ebay, is that where you got it?
Thank you very much.i have 3 tbirds and 3 mustangs..all but this bird are stroked and procharged.
I just picked up a 88 and a 87 that I bought from a family that needed to settle a estate yesterday.the 84 was the first of many lol.its amazing on how fast the larger fox cars grew on me especially as in 6ft 8.my 85,86,and 89 mustangs all needed the seat track seat re locators lol.
Very nice. Do you have picture of the others as well?
I do not as of now but I will add them over the weekend.ive been nursing a operation on my foot for the last 2 1/2 weeks.yay me..I do have videos of them but it's not letting me attach them for some reason.going to whites speed in Cicero tomorrow where they are doing fuel system on my 4k original mile procharged stroker 85 stang and the 88 is being tuned Monday.imwill gather pics of them and get them right out..

Pics of new set up
Looks good. Welds?
