As much as love my FR500 I've been on the fence about trading for some oem 2003-2004 style chrome cobras for the longest time
What do you guys think looks better on these cars?
I'll love either wheels, maybe I'm just getting tired of these wheels but I would love the 04 cobras
I've already got someone that would trade and has wheels in great condition

I would try them on for fitment first. I tried the wheels from my 10th anniversary Cobra on my 88 Bird and they stuck out too much in the front for my liking. I too had the opportunity to get some Cobra wheels for a good price. I currently run 97 Cobra wheels on the Bird and they look great, I was just looking for a change. The 97 wheels are only 8" wide though with a different offset than the 04 Cobra wheels which are 9" wide.

I really like how those FR500's look on there but I understand wanting a change! I went from '95 cobra R's to '93 Cobra's for no reason other than I wanted to change the look of the car.
I like the FR500s better than the 5 spoke Cobras. However if you're going with 10th anniversary wheels it's a toss up.
Yea I'm going to go check them out later today and go from there
They are OEM Ford wheels so I don't feel like im losing out on too much, I did buy the FR500s New but there probably not worth near what I paid for them now
had the 10th anniversary whels on mine for a few years, 17x9 and 17x10.5. I was changing everything on the car, so, I swapped wheels too. I sometimes wish I had kept them, but the deep and deeper Cobra R wheels with the rivets around the perimeter are cool, too.

Its a win-win on either wheel choice. Both look great.
Now the car just needs moar low...lol
Lol right, the reason I didn't go lower with the fr500s is because they already rubbed and I had to roll the fenders. Any lower and I would of had to pull them out further somehow.
Now I can lower it more without worries
