Title: 1988 Thunderbird Sport Unrestored survivor with 79k miles. $4995 or best offer
Post by: sposey7 on June 13, 2015, 03:21:15 PM
This is equipped with many of the same options as the Turbo Coupe including:

Bucket Seats
Floor Shifter
Rally Gauge Cluster
Tuned Suspension w/ Quad Shock Rear and Larger Front Sway Bar

It also has been upgraded with 16" Mustang Pony wheels, and a Pioneer CD player and speakers which are included in the sale.

The car as under 80k original miles, and has been very well kept.

There are a couple cosmetic issues, but considering the age of the car, they are very minor.

There are some dings in the top, roof, and hood. However, the paint isn't cracked so that should be an easy fix.  Asking $4995 or best offer.

Feel free to pm me.

THAT is what my Sport started out life like. JUST like that. It's a bit different now. I wish I had the cash, I'd love to have it, but my funds are non existent. Good luck with the sale.

What is the part number on that upper radiator hose you have and brand. My auto parts store is having a problem locating that particular molded hose part.

Thanks

The reason I was asking is because the way it lays over the alternator and pulley accessories. It looked like it had a part# sticker on it also. Mine looks like a shorter version of what sposey has and mine needed to be secured so it does not rub the tensioner and have a chance of being sliced. I'll see if the Mustang info clears this problem up at the auto parts store.

Thx

There should be a plastic sleeve that goes over the alt and tensioner to keep it from rubbing a hole. I think it is fairly normal for the hose to lay close to the alt and tensioner.
