Title: Rear wheel offset
Post by: Matt on May 31, 2015, 09:12:56 AM
I'm looking to get some wheels for the 83 I just bought. What offset do I need to run to use a ten inch rim on the rear? (I have a 88 Turbo Coupe rear end swap in it).

6.5 inch offset for 10" wheels if it has an 8.8 mustang rear end. Yours is an inch wider either side, so try a 7.5" bs.

I might be wrong but I thought the difference between the SN95 and TC disc brake rear end to a 86-93 Fox Mustang drum brake 8.8 was 0.75" per side.

I have an 88 Turbo Coupe rear in it. They only make the rims I have in 5.5 and 6.5. I may just go with a 15x8 with 4.5.

What is the stock mustang 10 hole offset?

I am running 275/60r15's on some 10 holes, and they work perfectly fine. The rims are a bit narrow for the 10.8" wide tires, but the offset is perfect.
