As the title says, I found an awesome LTD LX for sale!
1985 LTD LX with 100k on the clock... Black with a set of 10-hole wheels and a dead battery and slight miss.
I know this is a T-bird dedicated site, but oh man the cool factor is hard to deny... Might have to cut the thunderchicken loose for this one!
What do you guys think?
I think you need to add pics !!!!
You need to tell me where it is so I can go steal it out from under you...
Yall aren't much help... It's a little roughed up but not too bad.
The guy put it on craigalist:

Take my 5 lug swap pieces and put them on the little LTD instead of the 'Bird.
I'd let my Tbird go for enough to bring the Ltd home! Mine only has 86,xxx on the clock and has been converted to carb with a Weiand intake and lokar cable and bracket.
Id even include the Maximum Motorsports Camber plates and the 99 Mustang GT springs!
Please don't buy it out from under me!
OK we'll meet in Midlothian and I'll buy you the LX, even bring a new battery & fill it with gas...
All you havta do is buy me this(It's only $12)...

Actually it's $12500 obro, which I assume means $12500 or your brother.
Hahahah, I have a spare sibling, but I dunno if that works out.
If it sells my '73 Mustang gets a big block... And I move on to the 1956 Mainline Tudor FE project. Win/win.
Wow look at that Fairlane. .
I had an 85 Marquis LTS (the Canadian only Merc version of the LTD LX) back in the early 90s as a daily driver. Fun car, nobody had any idea it was anything special.
cheers

So I bought the car and drove it from Richmond to the Roanoke area. Ran 65-75 up rt. 460 like a champ. I wish the non-HO CFI 302 had the pep the Ltd LX has.
Well done !!
Well 165ish to 130 and better rear gear really help the LTD verse the old bird....
