Post by: 88turbo on July 12, 2005, 05:24:47 PM
today, I went on the daily parts run for the shop and when I got back to the shop I noticed that my TC was idling really low and when I reved it it kind of hesitated around 4k well when I got home today it was still doing the same thing and I noticed that it was puffing black smoke during the hesitation,  this is the first time its done this to me O2 sensor need cleaning?  or maybe replaced?

You can't clean an o2 sensor.
Check codes and see which ones you come up with.
My buddies tc was doing the same thing and his hose that goes from the intercooler to the throttlebody had come loose, and it also needed an o2.

it could be many things, try checking your codes first, itll give you a ballpark figure to start with

i had a random problem with my idle, turned out to be my TPS, so it could really be anything
