Much like the 4 eye style Thunderbird Turbo Coupe and '79-86 Mustang, The Lincoln Mark VII was fitted with Marchal 750/759 fog lamps from the factory. The ones on my Mark VII are serviceable, but in poor shape. The glass is good and one of the housings is.....okay (I can restore it with some time), but the other has actually rotted through in a few places. I found a set of NIB 750's WITH the correct covers AND the actual wiring harness in a Ford Motorsport box on Ebay. Unfortunately it sold before I had a chance to bid (I will not bid/buy from my phone). Used ones go for silly money as well......
Enter me looking around. Cibie Airport 35's are near identical (well known), but also pricey.
So I do a GIS with the term "rectangle halogen fog lamp" and find this image....

Hmm......Interesting. I use the visit page option on my browser:

Looks like it's a Grote 63531. More Googling:

I'm not too keen on buying from Alibaba. I've never used them before and am leery. It gets better though.

A couple of buck more, but hey $45 bux for a pair of new fog lamps that are nearly identical in size. I'd only have to splice on the pigtail to make the wiring work.
I'm gonna take the plunge. Stay tuned :)
I'm gonna bet summit will price match alibaba.
Just an FYI. Walmart sells them also

They look great. I'd use them. I run aftermarket fog lights on my car. I never under stood the need for factor fog lights on most of these cars (T-Birds, Cougars, Mark VII and Stangs) when most of the cars are nowhere near stock. The only purpose they have is in a restored, ar original car. Plus, the new lights are way brighter.
Yeah, I'm with Vinnie. I scored a set of TC fogs from pick n pull a couple years ago...got 'em home, stashed them away for future use.
When I parted my junk out last spring...I posted them. Had a guy (Ron) ask me about them...so I opened them, and I will be double ed. Looks as if someone parked the car, bumper deep in a salt water lake. The sonsabitches were rusty, and utterly junk.
Between the two sets I have, there's 3 intact lenses, though all are pitted to beat hell.
Sucks...such is life, though.
I'd be keen to see more on these...as the fogs on my Mountaineer are , so I replaced them with some cheapos from the local hardware place...I should've used that money to buy a box of candles, for all the good those lights do lol.
And my headlights blow too. Going to upgrade the grill, lights and hatch to '98 specific parts.
I would like brighter lights under the TC as well. I took mine off last year and re painted the covers. Might check them out myself
I'm going to restore these that came with the 86' I bought recently.

I haven't checked these out yet, I'll do that once I get the car down here with me.

Is that the whole kit with the harness and switch?
I'm not sure. I haven't opened the box yet.
I bought that kit once. It was awesome.
Even more awesome was the 759 kit...
