Title: Factory full digital cluster in a 3.8?
Post by: CoogarXR on March 08, 2015, 09:55:58 PM
I saw this ebay auction (not mine):

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Thunderbird-Base-Sedan-2-Door-1986-ford-thunderbird-classic-american-sportscar-89-920-miles-/201301768119?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2ede8537b7&item=201301768119&pt=US_Cars_Trucks (http://"http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Thunderbird-Base-Sedan-2-Door-1986-ford-thunderbird-classic-american-sportscar-89-920-miles-/201301768119?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2ede8537b7&item=201301768119&pt=US_Cars_Trucks")

I thought it was weird that it has a full digital cluster and it's only the 3.8. I don't know that I have ever seen a full digital on a 3.8 car. Have you fellas?

Yeah, plenty were made that way, frankly, I find a V8 with the base cluster more odd. I shared that one earlier this month, that is certainly one loaded up base tbird! But oddly, no cornering lamps

I've only had two out of 6 5.0's with a digital dash. All others were the base cluster. Interestingly enough, one was a stripper model with a 5.0 and digital dash.
