I know, it's amazing that it works so well. The hardest part was the wiring. I plugged it in, lol

Rod, i thought that also, but apparently you could order them on an 84 also. I saw one other 84 with them. Just checked the 84 Dealer Broshure, and sure enough, its an option for base and élan models.

Checking an 84 brochure was my next step. Thanks for digging that up. Something else I learned today!
