Title: Parting out 88 TC
Post by: ringosc on December 31, 2014, 05:39:37 PM
I am parting out my 88 TC. Red in color, 5 spd. The motor is half way torn down, but ran good before I started the tear down, just needs a new head. Has a leather interior in the car. Dash is cracked. The bottom of the doors are rusty along with the rear quarters. Front fenders are clean along with hood and trunk lid. All head lights and tail lights are there. Front and rear bumpers are good. Some of the parts aren't with the car so bare with me on trying to find some of the pieces. Willing to sell the car as is for $500 tital in hand. Let me know what you need and shoot me a price as well not sure what some of these parts are worth but I know some of the bigger items like fenders, hood, trunk lid, and bumpers I would like to sell for $100. Let me know.

Willing to sell the 8.8 if that is what is still in it?  My brother in law and sister live less than 10 minutes from you.  Could pick up and visit them.  I'm not on this forum much more than lurking and searching, but have been on Turboford for over a decade if you would like some reference of me.  Some people like that.

Title: Cruise Control
Post by: flatdoc on January 05, 2015, 09:01:35 AM
I'm Looking for a cruise control cable assembly. one end hooks to the throttle linkage and the other end goes to the cruise control servo. Willing to buy complete servo with cable attached and any related parts. Be carful when removing as plastic parts become brittle and break easily. Please let me know. Thanks Doug 260-438-7022 flatdoctor@frontier.com

Yes, it's still the original 8.8, it might take some time to get the rear end out of the car, as my tool suplies are limited. Would you be willing to buy the car as a roller though?

There not the stock wheels, I have 16 after market wheels on right now, I was hoping to keep them but I am willing to sell for the right price. If your looking for stock turbo coupe wheels, talk to my dad (my10-80) I believe he has a set that he might be willing to sell.

I'm really just interested in the 8.8, but could potentially do the roller for the right price.  I am not sure I can use PM's on here yet but you can try PM'ing me or email me at lambertfleck at gmail dot com.

Car is gone. I'm sorting threw the parts that I have pulled off the car that are at least worth keeping. I'll post a list up in a few days.
