Title: 80s Escort wheels

Would 80s Escort wheels work on a fox T-Bird? I found a good deal on some.

They'll fit on the rear, offset if different. Saw a guy with a 4 banger Mustang once, had some on the front. About a week later he asked me to replace his brakes. Seems the Escort GT wheels cracked his hubs/rotors....

Oh dang! Ok I guess I won't be getting them. Would Fox Mustang/Mustang II wheels work?

Yes, fox mustang wheels fit. They came on cougar birds to begin with.

The tempo/topaz and escort wheels bolt on, but the hub is either much larger or smaller, don't remember which. I wouldn't use one for much more then a jackstand

Ok. Cool. My '85 has 14" rims on it now. Is there an issue with putting 15" rims on a car that came with 14s? I have a set of 15" turbines that I put on it and it didn't seem to like them too much. It just seemed that the steering was heavy.

You can safely use the 15" wheels, as well as the 16" wheels from the TurboCoupe. Steering effort will likely change though.
Also, your speedometer/odometer will NOT be accurate. With larger tires (not wheels, but the tires, if larger than stock) you'll actually be going faster than what your speedo indicates. Got a GPS unit? Use that to gauge where the speed limit is on your cluster, so you'll keep from getting stopped needlessly. :)
