Just scrolling through old photos on my computer and came across this. Kinda aero-bird-meets-aero-g-body-ish...
Looks like the fwd dodge daytona.
funny you mentioned Daytonas, they "stole" the taillight design from the 83+ Capri.
I just did some image searches for Merc Capris, I forgot that they had a bubble rear window too.
Chrysler Co also "borrowed" some of Ford's Aero-Fox Bird/Cat style with the LeBaron two door.
I also remember a lot of similarity in the roof, and c pillar appearance of the older Grand Prix and Cougar...around '86..'86.
Just like '80s music. Some sounded similar, but if you got beyond the obvious made-for-radio tracks and dug into the other stuff, you could find a whole lot more to love. Of course, there was shiznit that looked good in a shiny wrapper but were nothing more than 11 tracks of filler, with one killer.
Then there were records that kicked your ass from the beginning to the end.
For me, this would've gotten my "album" of the year, had it ever been...
recorded. ;)
That convertible TC is money.

Just noticed something odd about that body-in-white t-bird in that concept thing I posted. Look at where the fuel filler hole is...
Also, what's with the B pillar spot?
I was gonna mention both when I posted my topless Bird pic, but got excited by the porn, and forgot...
I think that's probably a strap holding the door shut. As a body-in-white it would have no latches
Anyone else see a little bit of the MN-12 Cougars in that c pillar?
Makes sense Carm...I saw the lack of door handles, but as I mentioned, the topless Fox had my attention....
Yeah, I see some design cues of the Might Nasty Twelve in there as well..
does this mean you found the sequential turn signal info you lost?
