Title: Mustang gauges?

Can I put a Mustang gauge cluster in my 88 T-bird?  I want a 140 mph gauge and I dont know what all that would intale. please help.

If I remember correctly the mustnag gauges are cable operated. Or gauges are all electronic. So it would be kinda hard to put the mustang gauges in a t-bird or cougar. If you look here (http://www.coolcats.net/tech/advanced/140speedo.html) you can turn your stock gauge into a 140mph gauge.

That would be if you already have buttstuffog guages.  If you've got the digital guages, you could mod it to read up to 199 mph

Unless of course you want the buttstuffog appearance and don't already have it.  Then go for the 140 link as posted above.

ive been working on the 140 conversion mentioned above, amazingly, the hardest part is actually making the gauge faces, but i might have a lead on someone who can make them soon

I have buttstuffog gauges and I wouldn't give them up for the world.
