So early, the TC wasn't even mentioned, and the 5.0 wasn't yet available.

Did you notice the Base model (Burgundy Paint) with the loaded interior, and on the console it had dual power seat controls, factory alarm light, and power windows, but the manual passenger mirror joystick? Then in the 3rd promo, the console had the cigarette lighter in the mirror adjust spot and the spot next to the premium sound switch had the passenger mirror adjust there.
Yeah, that caught my eye too. IMHO, manual pass mirror joystick in the cig light spot would have made more sense than the dual power control there. I know that the TC was a late addition, but still surprised that there was no 5.0 option from day one...
Very cool! A homerun for us 83 owners!
Very early test mules I'm guessing. Looks like the silver Heritage was the closest to production style. Seems all of the cars sat like 4x4's so wondering if they were still tweaking the suspension? Looks like the base model may not have had front fender liners? Saw lots of pre-production items.
Thanks for posting!
Now go find one for the 83 TC. :hick: You can bet there is one out there.
Very cool to see something like that.
That was really cool!!! It's neat to see what Ford put out to promote the cars.
