A four door bronco? Apparently a conversion company made them out of a crew cab pickup. There's a four door bronco forum and everything. I used to have a bronco, and I was kicking around the idea of getting another one, then I came across one of these 4-doors. Coulda' knocked me over with a feather. I thought I had seen every oddball 80s-90s ford creation out there. I could never afford the gas in that beast, but it's cool to look at :mullet:

Wait....powerstroke? I am *pretty* sure you couldn't get one in a FSB. Though...a four door Bronco aka "Bronco Centurion" was coachbuilt by Centurion who also made those fancy-shmancy F250 and F350 dually rigs you see decked out with captain's chairs and such for long over-the-road hauls. So they may have swapped in whatever they  pleased.

I LOVE those things. To me it's the forebear to the Excursion. Too bad they didn't build a 2-door Excursion, to be like a modern next-gen Bronco!

The Power Stroke Turbo Diesel came out in '94. It was basically the previous year's 7.3 with direct injection and a turbo.

The Centurions could be ordered with anything you so desired. I remember seeing articles in 4 Wheeler magazine way back in the early-mid 90's...the former shop foreman at the local Ford dealership used to have one...bought it brand new in 1994. He paid 40 thousand for it...back then. Yeah..it was nice. He drove it till the early 2000's...sold it, bought an Expedition.

I too would like to see a shop fab up a new bronco, section out an Expy, make a removable carbon fiber shell, and add in the Navi 4 cam 5.4...I've got wood just thinking about it.

The ultimate truck would be a Bronco ('92-'96) body plopped onto a '96-'7-'8 cut down F35 PSD truck frame....diesel one ton Bronco will kick your ass sideways. May not be very ed practical, but if i won the powerball, that would be the first check I'd sign my name to have made. Need to throw on a lift, a gun rack, and mini fridge...and let's head for the trails. :)
