Title: 86 Thunderbird 5.0 Ebay

Looks pretty good. Low miles with a GT40 5.0, T5, and 3.73 gears. Side exhaust and add on fender emblems need to go. The center caps need to be repainted and the nose dropped about an inch. Then you've got a presentable cruiser. Adding pictures for future reference.

See, I think he's highballin' a bit. Seems like these cars just dont sell for very much. I hate to say it, but theyre not very desireable :(

Should the purple on the front end extend that far down, looks odd to me.

Yep. That's how the tue-tone was on 83-86 cars.

I'd say he realistically gets $5-6k at the most.

Its a elan-o-coupe.......trying to hard to be what it isn't.  I think 5k is high for that car. Its actually a shame that such a nice low miler like that was modded to that extent.  JMO

I mean these cars being cheap, is good when youre looking to buy one. But I dont think I could get hardly anything for mine. So i'll just keep it. Its worth more to me than what I'd get for it

The cleanliness of everything is impressive though. Doesn't scream hacked-up hotrod. A bit tacky, yes, but that's reversible.
Always excited to see another one spruced up and given more power in a good way. They need power, they need to be exciting and rambunctious to drive. They wear the muscle-car suit so well if the ponies are bestowed upon them. A for effort

I'm all for leaving the exterior and interior stock. The factory did a great job there. Any "improvements" people do to those areas just make the cars look tacky. The drivetrain (engine, transmission, rear end) mod away! These cars have sucky factory drive trains. Even the 86-88 SEFI 5.0 cars suck. Make them fast but keep them looking stock. I followed that philosophy to a "T" with my Thunderbird.

My 86 is the same way. Apparently, these colors were 86-only.
