Title: 5 lug axles, cobra parts, misc for sale.
Post by: Lodemia on December 09, 2014, 03:51:55 PM
I ended up buying some parts lots for my thunderbird, and I'm going to be posting some stuff for sale.  I have parted out a complete Mark VII, but I have gotten rid of most of the parts already.  I've included the weight of each box so that you can get an idea of shipping beforehand.  I can ship UPS or USPS.

Updated with prices & sold some stuff!
Item #1 - Mark vii 5 lug rear conversion parts - SOLD, Thanks!

Item #2 - the best that I can describe it is that it's a brand new cobra "dress up kit."  I purchased the valve covers and the intake plate separately, but since the intake plate isn't made anymore, I thought I'd like to keep them together.  Part number on the valve covers is M-6582-F302.
This is the only part of my listing that I'm not really negotiable on.  I am going trick flow with this build, so my loss is your gain.  I paid $170 for the covers + $75 for the brand new no longer made, oem plate.  Update:  $175 + Shipping (9lbs)

Item #3 - a very heavy alternator from that same mark vii 302 that I parted out.  No clue the amperage, etc, but it is very heavy.  $20 + shipping (16 lbs!)

Item #4 - 1986 HO intake manifold and plate.  I rebuilt the block and am putting a trick flow upper on it so I don't need this one.  It was "polished" beforehand, but it was a partial job at best.  I think that the guy just took some steel wool to it and called it a day.  I'll take best offer, but I didn't weigh this one, so let me know if you need it.

Item #5 - A pair of OEM cobra rear rotors.  These are in very good shape with a little surface rust.  I have taken a caliper to both of them and they are both within specs - 15.6MM minimum.  How about a dollar per pound?  $25 + shipping (25 lbs).

Item #6 - A new pair of Raybestos cobra front rotors (rebranded) part number 66844rgs.  Brand new in box - purchased with other parts that I acquired.  $50 + the ride (40 lbs)

I'd be interested to know the condition of the interior, of the t-bird you'll be parting.  I'm looking for a console lid, and a dual seat switch panel, among other things

I decided to keep the interior intact until I tear into mine.  I don't know everything I'm going to need yet..

Mark vii is gone to the spers.  It will be resurrected as rebar, I believe.  Is there something specific you're looking for?
