im all for free trade with canada and mexico. Our max trade should be with these two countries,, not overseas or ouside the boarders of these countries.

This country has really gone down the per since Bush took office. I'm not so proud to be an american anymore. Poor leadership and even poorer descisions make me want to leave the country and move to Australia or something. If things keep declining at this rate, we're headed for another depression.

I never said Clinton was so great, I could care less about politics. Bush is in charge, screws everything up. What really bugs me is how politicians are so intertwined with corporations. Pay them well and you'll get what you want. I despise the corporate america that we have become. Far to many companies have become oligopolies (sp?). Just a stone's throw away from monopolies and price fixing. Capitalism only works when you sell a fair product for a fair price. I could ramble forever on how the middle class is getting screwed and can't really do anything about it. Sure, you can vote, but most people just vote to be loyal to a party or a platform that never pans out. Real change will never happen until corporate sponsorship and blue-bloods are out of the political swimming pool.

Awhile back I looked into relocating to another country. Australia? Have to pretty much buy your way in, unless you have some sort of indispensable skill their economy can really use. Not saying it's impossible.. but as an Aussie friend of mine put it, you'd have a better chance if you went to Indonesia and hopped on an immigrant boat to northern Australia.. sort of like the Cubans and Haitians do down here to get to Florida.
Looked into moving to Canada. Possible, but I had some concerns (I don't remember specifics at the moment, but I haven't even had my coffee yet and things are still a little fuzzy at times) that bothered me about it at the time I looked it up. Don't know if it would be a deal-breaker if and when I decided to relocate.. but aside from those concerns, it seemed like a pretty good place. (not that any of the Canadians on this board would want me as a neighbor.. hah)
I've heard that some Central and South American countries are great to relocate to for some. Belize, for example.. will supposedly give you permanent resident status if you bring money into their economy with things like retirement pensions and what not. A former co-worker of a friend of mine relocated there when he retired.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as our conversations didn't consist solely of the glories of the 350. :p The kind of people that turned me off to Chevy could only think about the 350. Not even other Chevy engines seemed to register much.. 327, 396, 409, 427, etc. It would be like claiming to be really into Fords but only ever talking about the 5.0 HO and being oblivious to any other decent/good/great Ford engine.. 289 hi-po, 427 and the cammer, the CJs and SCJs, Boss, 4v Cleveland, etc.
I don't expect people to know everything about their cars and the stuff that came before them.. but I expect to not get a deer-in-the-headlights look as a response to a comment like "yeah, the 350 is decent.. but I'm partial to the 327 since I owned one". (hypothetical example) Hell, I'm not even into Chevys and I know about a few "oddities" like this (http://www.autofacts.ca/classics/FAPC/ZL1Corvette.htm)..
