Title: Hard starting
Post by: Outcast13 on October 14, 2014, 04:05:23 AM
Just did a full tune up on the car plugs wires cap rotor. It started the first time every time and now after the tune up it takes 2 to 3 times to start the car and just don't know why. Any ideas or hints I did put a k&n filter on it. I bypassed the heater core and the ac contrals are all messed up. It turns on and off when ever it feels like it. What else could I do to try and fix both of the problems any info would help. Thanks

Not that this will fix the starting issues but did you change the fuel filter?  I usually do this on an unknown car when I get one or when I do a major tune up.  Also, check the timing with the spout connector removed and then reinstall the spout connector.

Another suggestion would be to post up the details on the car you are working on which I am presuming to be the '88 TC you just bought.
