Was it a standalone option? My 86, which is a base model, has it. At first I thought, maybe it was because it has cruise, but I've seen cruise wheels without the leather. I'm speaking of the 1984-86 A-frame wheel.

Leather wrapped steering wheel was a standalone option for 1986 and required cruise control.
