Title: I FINALLY fabbed my filler panel....
Post by: vinnietbird on September 28, 2014, 09:43:03 PM
I have been wanting to fabricate a core support filler panel. I finally got around to doing that. It fits great, held on with two stainless bolts (all it needed), and really looks sweet. Cleaned up the front a wee bit I think.

Thanks a lot. I have zero car funds, so, doing some cleaning and other little things until I do. Next car funds go to Kitz. He still has funds coming for my heads.  Most of my money has gone to fixing small issues that pop up. Not many 27 year old parts left on my car at this point. LOL.

One question:

How do you check the level in the coolant overflow bottle now?

I don't right now. Have never had an issue with it before, so, I figured it'll be fine until I buy a new aluminum tank, then, I'll have the cap of it extend through the top of the panel. All you'll see is the cap and about 1/4 of an inch of the top of the reservoir.

I also have to get new hood bumpers as well.
