1985 elan with the standard cluster, no pdl or cruise control, it had cornering lights and illuminated entry, no auto dimming headlights/auto lamps, no key-less entry, had full console and TC seats.
Interesting.... wonder if was ordered by a dealership or customer. Opted for the TC seats, bet you don't find a lot like that.
I tried to add the Autotrader link, but AT links never work right for me when I copy/paste them.
My '85 Elan is an oddly optioned one as well.
What is has:
Pwr. Windows
Luggage rack on trunk
Aluminum rims
A/C
Pwr. mirrors
AM/FM buttstuffog radio
Quartz buttstuffog clock
Full console
Vanity mirrors in sun visors
It is an Elan, but it seems to have mostly base model options (or lack there of). The PO told me he bought it from a Ford dealer in '88 as an ex-program car with 40,000 miles. It only has 79,000 on it now, so he must not have driven it much.
FINALLY!!! Here you go guys: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=53143&endYear=1988&modelCode1=TBIRD&showcaseOwnerId=624335&startYear=1981&makeCode1=FORD&searchRadius=0&showcaseListingId=0&mmt=%5BFORD%5BTBIRD%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&listingId=381579808&Log=0
I wonder if the seats were swapped at some point? I'll have to check my standard catalog to see if that combination was even available.
Nice car. Too bad I'm broke :(
Turns out yes you could order that interior option in an Élan. It was interior trim code BA.
Thats so cool...
I love special oddly option cars...
