I am selling my 1980 Thunderbird. I still drive it 30+ miles every day to work. It has a nice ride. 255 V8 w/automatic transmission.
The good:
Runs good, shifts good, rides good.
Nice snow tires (I know it's summer, lol)
Only one spot of rust anywhere (passenger door)
No vinyl top!!
Nice stereo
Gets about 18mpg
The bad:
Typical Ford Low oil pressure
Sometimes engine "ticks" (I don't think it's mechanical though, sometimes when you hit bumps the ticking stops for a while...)
Has a minor oil leak that drips onto exhaust when sitting in traffic (or drive-thrus). Doesn't do it on the highway or long trips. Doesn't drip on the ground.
Asking $1500. Make it $2000 and I'll throw in the 87 20th anniversary cougar I have listed too. Then you'd have everything you'd need for a 5.0/AOD swap!

Ya gotta luv the rare ones. This one asks the question, "When is the last time you've seen one of this in person?"
