Were wheel locks offered as an option on the later Fox Bodies? I went to the local Pick-n-Pull today and bagged a fresh 88 Thunderbird new to the yard. I found an unopened package of wheel locks in the bottom of the fender well that holds the spare tire. I searched the rest of the car for the key but did not find. There's no markings on the locks (Ford, McGard, etc). Here's a couple of pics of the locks:

I know both of the 87 20th anniversary cougars I had came with the McGuard wheel locks. I would imagine that they came that way from the factory since it would be quite a coincidence that both cars had the same set... Mine didn't look like that though, they were more barrel shaped.
Those were a factory option. They look to be the long lug nuts that were used with the "8 hole" 14" aluminum wheels. Those length lug nuts are very hard to find.
If anybody wants them let me know. I'll send for no charge. Dont know how/if you can find a key however.
-you can still get keys and/or locks thru McGard wheel products.....
or a new set thru Ford.....
Agreed. If you call McGard they'll be able to help you. Very nice company, easy to deal with.
