Yes, everybody has seen it, but I have a couple of members wanting to see it for different reasons, so, I thought I'd toss a few out....here they are....

I have since had the windows tinted, new stereo with Sirius XM, and more to come.
Thanks for sharing v-man.
Looks GOOD. I like the idea of the access panel for the fuel pump. I have the same shifter handle except with line-lok button. What happened to the handle you were fabbing up?
Very nice car Vin.
Gorgeous car! That puts all others to shame.
It does look good without the molding.
....."and more to come''......Hey Vin, I'm finding out these cars are "hobby cars" and are NEVER truly finished! lol. Like the others said, the Sport looks great.
I love it~!
i appreciate you guys and the comments. These pics were to show a couple of our members some things they were wanting to see.
As far as no side trim....it's a double edged sword. Super easy for dents in the door from other cars because there's no rubber strip there. Good part, the natural body lines speak for themselves and look great.
I will take new pics when I can. I swapped my valve covers yesterday to make sure they fit. They are 4 inches tall. I had to use a one inch spacer under the plenum, and modify the throttle cable bracket as it touched the valve cover even with the one inch spacer in place. I lengthened the mounting holes in the throttle cable bracket WAY down so it can slide way up to clear. That worked fine. Not sure that these covers will be the ones I will stick with. May go back to my FPV covers. Either way, easy stuff.
The fuel access cover was a mod I did a few years ago. Sure makes fuel pump swapping on the road a pleasure. Anywhere any time, and all I need is a Phillips and standard screwdriver, and a hammer, and about fifteen minutes if I choose to really take it slow. Once the panel is on, the carpet is back down, nobody would ever know.
The gas struts for the trunk lid were done because after the lip spoiler was added to the trunk lid, when I'd raise the trunk lid, the tension rods couldn't maintain the weight if the slightest breeze was blowing, so, I removed the rods, tossed them away, and fabbed some brackets and installed gas struts. Now when I pop the trunk, the lid raises nice and slow to the fully opened position, and wind will not close it, yet it's still easy to close by hand.
As far as the shifter I'm working on, I still have a LOOOONG way to go. I worked on it for about 90 minutes last week. Starting to see the shape of the top of it. It's a slow process, but I'm in no hurry. Trying to concentrate on finishing under the hood.
I have the heads and cam about ready to go in. I am down to fluids, lower intake gaskets, timing cover/water pump gaskets, and header gaskets. Then everything can go together. I'm trying to balance the parts purchasing and also making payments on the heads. Both are getting there slowly. No funds ever come from my paycheck for the car, so, it's a slow process, but well worth it when I'm done, and when people ask how much I have into the car, I can honestly say, "nothing".
I've got some studying to do now. I have really never messed with stud mount rockers before, and those are going on the new heads. So, gotta learn how to adjust them correctly.
Is the "push to start" button a left over from a James Bond ejector seat? It kinda looks like it ;).
I may need to get one of those "push to start" stickers for my neighbor to put on his non-Ford bumper... :p
Vinnie, Nice car, well planned and executed, with design ideas worth emulating.
I dig the button, but I am going to change the PTS button with a smaller green lit button and aluminum housing.
Everything looks really nicely done. Fine example of our cars.
Like I said, anybody can do a Mustang. Takes something a bit more involved and dedicated to do one of these cars. Mustangs are the easy way out.
Well done Vinnie, well done.
Thank you, Sir. Still have a long list of things to do, but getting there one step at a time. I'm about to start some fab work. More on that as it happens.
Shiny, So that's what you did with the console cover. Looking good!
Thanks Kitz !! I'm looking for another console "cap" like that one, but apparently they don't exist anymore. The search continues.......
Wow, that is a very appealing green. That would have looked good on my (or any) old light sage '85 cat with tan interior.
I like the stance of your car and appropriately sized tires and wheels too.
Thanks a lot. The biggest thing I would change, if I had access yo the parts, is putting the interior from gray/black to tan. Never see tan interior parts anymore.
Looks good Vinnie! I like the look of the Torino sport hood scoop. I wasn't sure how the scoop would look but it works good with the shape of the car.
Where did you get the Australian "Ford Performance Vehicle" emblem on the intake? It adds a unique touch.
Looking good Vinnie. Shave and fill those door handles and it'll be perfect.
Oh noooooo, handles stay in place. I actually don't like the "smooth" look. I like something there to break up all that green.
I got the emblems from a Ford dealership in Australia over the internet. They did away with FPV and they are getting more expensive.
From what I have read they won't be manufacturing cars in Australia soon as they have for so many years so it stands to reason that FPV wouldn't continue also. I like the unique touch the decal adds.
The car looks awesome as usual. I bet tinting the windows really made it pop.
Vin remind me again where your paint color comes from? It seems like I remember it being a factory Ford color? Reason I ask is that I'm working on a '73 F250 4x4 project and the original color was "Limestone Green Metallic". Looks to be pretty close to your color...
Here's Limestone green:

It's a green with a gold metal flake. I've never seen the shade before I found it in a Dupont book.
OK cool...I could have sworn I read somewhere you said it was a factory Ford color. Regardless, it looks good!
I got a couple of things done today. I installed the Mustang 5 speed gas pedal, new Walbro fuel pump, and the replacement rear trunk panel with zero cracks. Test driving the car again tomorrow. Hopefully heads, cam, and new rockers later this week. Hopefully.
looks amazing! where did you find the 140mph speedometer?
It's a Ford Motorsports part. I have had it in the Bird for a long time. I've had 6 or 8 over the last few years and then sold all but the NOS gauge I have put away forever. They are now harder than ever to find. If you can find one, it's a direct swap.
Vinnie, Is the dome light from a Mustang ? Was that a direct plug in? Looks good.
It's from a Taurus. It is a direct swap except for tpuppies two plastic pegs.
Very, very nice bird!
